True Life Retreat and Sports Fest
On May 24-25, United Neon Foundation, Inc. organized a vibrant and meaningful event, the True Life Retreat and Sports Fest, held at the CCT Retreat and Training Center in Tagaytay. The event brought together United Neon Foundation 96 staff, volunteers, ALS learners, and scholars for an enriching experience focused on spiritual growth, personal reflection, and community bonding.
United Neon Foundation, Inc. at TOYCON PH 2024
On June 15, 2024, United Neon Foundation, Inc. (UNFI) had the honor of being invited to TOYCON PH 2024: The Philippine Toys, Hobbies, and Collectibles Convention, held at SMX Mall of Asia. This exciting annual event brought together enthusiasts and collectors from around the country, showcasing a vibrant array of toys, hobbies, and collectibles. UNFI proudly represented its mission to support education and provide opportunities for Filipino youth, engaging the toy community and sharing its impactful work with toy aficionados.
On Saturday, February 24, 2024, United Neon Foundation Inc. (UNFI) ALS students proudly secured 4th place at the very first DepEd Pasay Schools Division Office’s "Technolympics 2024" held at Jose Rizal Elementary School. This event marked an exciting milestone for DepEd Pasay SDO, spotlighting ALS learners’ skills, creativity, and technical abilities
Resume Writing and Personality Development Seminar
On March 15, 2024, ALS learners from DepEd Pasay and Makati attended a seminar on "Resume Making and Personality Development" conducted by Sir Juan Martin Guasch of the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies (AIMS). The session was designed to empower learners with essential skills for building effective resumes and developing a confident personal presence, which are critical as they prepare to enter the workforce.
On March 25, 2024, United Neon Foundation, Inc., in partnership with Pasay DepEd ALS, successfully hosted the annual District Revalida at the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies (AIMS). The event served as a vital culmination of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) academic year, assessing the achievements of 85 learners under ALS Instructional Manager T. Judith Flancia. The 85 learners who submitted their portfolios all achieved outstanding results, completing the revalida with success.
DEPED ALS Makati Revalida
On April 8, 2024, United Neon Foundation, Inc., in collaboration with ALS DepEd Makati, held its annual Alternative Learning System (ALS) District Revalida at HPL Building, Makati City. This event provided an important academic assessment for 45 learners under the guidance of ALS Instructional Managers T. Judith Flancia and T. Maylyn Tañamor for the school year 2023-2024.
The 4th Commencement Exercise of United Neon Foundation’s ALS Program was held on June 15, 2024, at Bethany Baptist Church in Makati, hosted in Woosley Hall and sponsored by Pastor Gerardo Nable, Mrs. Coty Cataluña, and the church's staff and members. The ceremony celebrated 146 graduates and completers from Pasay, led by T. Judith Flancia, and Makati, led by T. Maylyn Tañamor, with formal completion confirmed by DepEd’s Schools Division Offices.
The United Neon Foundation, Inc. recently held its bi-monthly Values Formation Class for the ALS Batch 2024-2025 learners from Pasay, Makati, and Manila. Hosted at the Asian Institute of Maritime Studies (AIMS) in Pasay City, the event brought together eager students for a day of learning and reflection.
On September 28, 2024, United Neon Foundation held its Scholarship Contract Signing for School Year 2024-2025 at Bethany Baptist College. The event marked a significant step for the new batch of scholars as they officially joined the foundation's program, committed to supporting students in achieving their academic and career goals. The foundation also held its awarding for 27 scholars with academic distinctions. Overall, the contract signing had a total of 210 participants.
This Christmas season, the United Neon Foundation, Inc. gathered in joy and gratitude for the much-awaited "Blessed to Be a Blessing 2025" Christmas Thanksgiving Celebration last December 14, 2024 at Selah Pods Hotel, Pasay City. This annual event aims not only to celebrate UNFI’s founding anniversary but to also bring joy through its beneficiaries by giving out Christmas baskets to indigent learners and scholars. This event was attended by 254 learners, partners, staff, scholars, and guests. From this, 185 scholars and learners received the Noche Buena package.
