Maria Eliza Cornejo
ALS Program Manager

In a nutshell, Ms. Eliza Cornejo is a teacher and communicator by heart.  She has tenaciously followed the road that combined education, film, media and IT for years because being exposed to computers and the Internet since the 80s has given her a deep insight about the future marriage of information technology and education.  This is the bedrock of her advocacy for the Department of Education's Alternative Learning System.  Her background in the liberal arts and functional technology has inspired her to seek better options for the basic education of a new generation of digital natives.
